The Tamil Nadu Police on Tuesday detained seven AIADMK MLAs and several workers for protesting against ongoing raids by the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC). The lawmakers had gathered outside the residence of former state minister SP Velumani in Coimbatore. In total, the DVAC is undertaking raids at nearly 40 locations linked to Velumani and another former state minister C Vijayabaskar.
