Some scathing observations have been made by the Parliamentary Committee on the management of the Covid pandemic. The committee has recommended Union Health and Family Welfare ministry audit the deaths of Covid-19 patients due to a shortage of oxygen, especially during the second wave of the pandemic. The committee submitted its report on Monday after analysing various aspects of the pandemic management, which includes oxygen shortage, administration, vaccine development and surveillance.
