Smart City Financing
Smart City Scheme is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme on 50:50 model. Under the amount released by the Central Government, an average of 100 crores will be given to each city as financial assistance. However, according to the figures of November 2021, while the Center released Rs 27,282 crore, the states released only Rs 20,124 crore.
